A couple of users of DBs i have developed have approached me about converting the barcodes produced in various reports (as well as barcode scanning into forms) to QR codes. Having done a little searching on that web thingy
, i have found there are many 'options' out there, but all cost (to early for free software i guess
). In the course of my searching I noticed several posts on this forum also.
Has anyone taken the plunge and spent some serious money (most sites are asking for $750 - $999
+ for their SDK, active X etc with a developers licence - single PC use is cheaper, $150 - $275
) on any of these?
I have found one site offering an ActiveX and COM Class download (called StrokeScribe - http://strokescribe.com/en/) and they have some good documentation about implementing it in various environments, but at $60 I am wary due to the VAST price difference.
