query averages help

i have two type of numbers in my db, i have set up a query that displays the results averages, for one type of numbers i need it to be every third (alos negatives) so "-6,-3,0,3,6,9" and so on, for the second number i need it to be in incremnts of .25, so if i had 23.40, it would be 23.50
