Query Disables Checkbox

I am having some problems with a query. I am trying to develop a database for our Girl Scout Service Unit to handle troop registrations.

Registrations are not always turned in at the same time. For example, I just sent in 16 of them but I may get 4 next October. I created a Membership Summary report and I need to select the year and the troop and have it bring up ALL the registrations for that troop for that year. This is working fine.

Then I need to select which ones to output by clicking the print box (checkbox) but for some reason when I do this and the list comes up, the print checkbox seems to be disabled.

I have the query set up so that it gets the year and troop from a form (ie: m!RegSum!Combo, etc). When I take that out it orks fine but brings up all hundred+regs but when I have it pull the troop by year it disables the checkbox.

How do I fix it so that I can select certain records from this screen for output?

Database

Thanks!

There are many options in your database. Please give some directions on exactly how to get to the section where you are having trouble.

From the switchboard, click reports then registration summary. If you click 2004-2005 and troop 8092 (not 8029) it will come up and the print checkbox won't work.

Thanks, I'll go check. Did I set them up wrong? It was they only way I could think to do it b/c some scouts (IE - me) are in more than 1 troop/position.

I don't have much experience in multiple table queries but you may want to consider posting a new thread asking for help with a query that won't update if you don't get any more replies on this one in the near future. Sometimes the title of the thread will grab the attention of someone who may have more experience in that field. There are a few experts that float around the forum that seem to have the answers for everything if you can get their attention.

Good luck.
