question about dynamic combo boxes in a datasheet

is setting up a dynamic combo box exactly the same for a datasheet view to? if some one could help me do dynamic combo boxes in the datasheets, that would keep me from pulling my hair out.
Essentially i searched for this topic but didnt see anything about datasheet involved. or example if i take a zip, i wanna get the city + state automatically.
