Question about emails sent through Access

Please forgive the question. It was asked to me directly and I'm trying to formulate an answer. Google isn't being helpful in this.

Does .snp format typically pass through spam filters? Apparently they went with sending Excel documents previously for that reason, but that's not a viable option with the new system.
