I'm trying to rethink my basic view in order to follow the progression of my "progressive displays". In fact I work in a casino and one part of my job I need to check that the display is correct.
How to increase the value of the progressive, each time a customer plays on a machine connected to the progressive, a percentage of each piece is added to the amount played. So to calculate it, I need to know the starting amount (yes we still offer an amount has started, the value does not start at zero) and daily increments machines connect to this progressive. Also this progressive can be won multiple times a day or not at all for several days, so I have also taken into account to control the display of these progressive and finally a progressive is that every win we give back the same amount starting.
Now I'm a little lost in the design of tables, queries.
I already made the extraction counters incrementing daily basis to know the value displayed.
Now I need to make a table for the starting value with each progressive date of service of this progressive?
A table for recorded gains of these progressive?
How to link this? SQL query?
