Quick Combo Box Help....

I use a form that has a combo box that is bound to an auto number field. I would like to be able to select the number and have it auto populate the rest of the form with the information from that specific inquiry.

I know I have set this up correctly but infortunately I cannot actually select numbers because it is bound to an auto number field. Is there any way to make that selectable?

Your combo box is the filter for your form. It should not be bound to the form table, but the filter for it, e.g.

On the combobox_AfterUpdate event
me.filter=me!comboboxname
me.filteron=true 'this only needs to be set once, maybe on Form_Open
me.requery

or

me.recordsource ="SELECT * FROM YourTableName WHERE IDField=" & me!YourComboBoxName
me.requery
