I have developed an Access 2000 application to keep track of my work contacts and associated data. This db includes a seperate table "Quotations" in which there are two fields QuotationID (autonumber) and Quotation (memo). The quotations are a collection of maxims and proverbs etc. On the main form I would like to have a textbox (or some other control) which displays a quotation from the table - selected at random - as Quotation of The Day (similar to early versions of Windows which had a tip of the day). Is this possible and if so how. My ability level is between beginer and intermediate.
