Based on a log entry I saw come through just now, apparently what every large company in the world is now doing is **proxy sniffing** by way of setting up automation for their servers in the form of those servers visiting URLs that are posted ANYWHERE on their website, immediately after they are posted. That includes content on any page, in any private message, and probably on other websites too, for companies they have business partnerships set up with. This IP Address lookup effort by me has apparently confirmed that LinkedIn has joined the rat race of the world in participating in doing stupid shit like this:
