I'm trying to create a reconnection routine for my adp project so that if the network drops the adp project will reconnect when the connection / server becomes responsive again..
One issue I have run into with the adp project is that I need to close the connection using the currentproject.closeconnection statement.
If the network connection fails for any reason though I get Error 6008 stating that the project could not close the connection??? The tables are also still showing in the object list (Access 2007) even though (I manually) severed the network connection.
Is there another way to close the connection???
