"Record is Deleted" Message

My problem started when upon running a macro that runs a report, the message "Record is Deleted" was returned and thus the report did not run. This is very strange because it worked ten minutes prior. Upon further research, I found that the table that is queried for this report could not be opened and upon attempting to open it the message "Record is Deleted" was returned again. I am, however, able to view all of the records in my table through a form. I cannot seem to find a reason for the table to work one place and not another. Any insight that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Have you done a repair and compact?

I have the same issue and it is causing quite a problem.

Compact and Repair works randomly, sometimes completing, othertimes stopping and giving the same error. In all cases it doesn't correct the error. Oddly, db1 which is creates for the compact, also doesn't get cleaned up and remains afterward.

I've tried importing the tables into a blank database, but then again, the "Record is deleted" error comes up.

When a backup has been restored I've tried archiving some of the records off, make it a little more streamlined but a few days/weeks later we'll get the same error occuring again.

When it happens I can view the data in the table, but can't arrange/sort it in anyway.

Any ideas?
