Dear,

I have a master form linked up with 3 subforms; what i want to do is ... when i move focus from main field "SNO" (Primary Key field), it finds the existing record and display and if no record found then clear all the form & subform and make new entry....

I tried to find solution from web but cant solve ....

if you have the subform linked correctly, opening the master form on 1 record,
all records in the subform will only show that Master key records.
And you can enter new records just by typing them in (in the new blank record line)

I agree bro... By changing master record, all child records are shown up but in this way.... The recordset of main form is not moved to that specific record.....

Have you set the master/child links correctly? Access sets them for you automatically if you have created the correct relationship using the relationship window.

Dear arnelgp
i need some help about record navigation, which u did perfect... but there is only 1 issue, i am trying to resolve but sorry i m not able to do that... can u figure it out plz

1. Enter New Record
2. Navigate to Back Record
3. "SNo" column value does not changed....

Suppose, New Rocord is #10 and new record added. then, if you navigate to previous record... record set moves to #9 and whole data related to record #9 is shown except value in "SNo" column .....

kindly help....
