One of my databases stoped working today, when ever a form is opened I get a this error:

Error Number 3197: The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time.

That KB article or one of the articles I follerd from there says the way to fix it is to make sure you have SP2 installed and then run the Jet update. I have done that but I still am getting a couple of errors. If I try and open a new database and import everything it seems to work for a while and then I get this error:

Record(s) can't be read; no read permission on msysmodule

I get the same KB articles and I am just going in circles with MS suggestions. Anybody seen this before and know what to do?

By the way I have never set any permissions or workgroup security on this database. Help me please...........

I think I have managed to get around this problem but would still appreciate any input as to why this might of happened.

All I did was restore yesterdays back up with a new name and then just imported only the two tables that have been updated since the back up was done.

same problem

I am getting the same error when i try to access the MSysObjects table. I am using a 97 DB that I have converted to 07 but both versions give me the same error.

Any Ideas???

Hi there,

I recently started getting this in Access 03 for no apparent reason. After extensive debugging, troubleshooting and the likes, I've come to the conclusion that it's one of those Access gremlins.

Based on when/where I've seen this, it's usually a corrupted database or a table that is linked in from a corrupted DB.

I hope that helps a little anyway!

1) Hold the shift key down and open Access.
2) Click Tools/Options and check Hidden Objects and System Objects, then
click OK.
3) Click Tools/Security/User and Group Permissions.
4) Select Object Type as Table.
5) Make sure all the Msys... tables have Read Design, Read Data, Update Data, Insert Data and Delete Data checked. Click Apply after every change.
6) Do this for the current user then click OK when Completed.
7) Click Tools/Database Utilities and then Compact Database.

I did this to my Database and all is good now.:D

Even if mom is nursing, you can still do the whole bonding-over-boobies factor. Injected breastmilk in a container gives child the same nutrients while providing mom a crack. And as everyone knows, providing mom a crack = bonuses for dad. As Dr. Sears, writer of The Baby Publication says, “Breastfed infants may not take wines from their mothers…Fathers are often the sensible option to provide a child her first bottles…Try going for walks around while providing the container. Using a child throw can create this simpler.
