When set to YES, the record selector 'bar' shows down the left edge of the form and usually has the black triangle representing 'Record Pointer'. This is generally used such that if you click on it, it selects that record you're viewing, then if you hit Delete for an example it will proceed to ask about deleting that 'selected' record.
If you say NO, the record selector 'bar' does NOT show.
Keep in mind, the record selector 'bar' on a form is equivalent to the gray selection box to the left of a record in Datasheet View. jt
