i am racking my brain with this one.

can anyone tell what is wrong with this. i have used many example seaches but when i incorporate them into my database there is somthing that doesnt like this code.

please please please please please please help!

Just a shot at it but if RETURNID is a number then try this:
"[ReturnID] =" & Me![QuickSearch]
