Ok
can any tell me (and yes i know this could seem a basic question) but we have a database that is backed up on regular intervals, however what we cannot seem to find/understand is where the reports are stored, there is no 'physical' visiblilty of them
now is it a case that the data entered is stored within the database structure or as a seperate physical 'item' in a specific location.
Now excuse my ignorance but if i type '1' in excel and save it it is saved as a physical file, however if i update or run a report on the CR DB then there seems to be no 'physical' file that corresponds to the report (although the report is correct).
But back on track, my concern is that if we lost the DB and were required to use our backed up version of the DB would the reports
A Present and fully upto date
B Present but only relevant to the data at the time of the Backup or
C Database structure is visible but no 'real' data stored.
I know this seems a strange question but hey its CR
Any help or questions please feel free and would be greatly appreciated.
