I recently did a search to find out how I would send a database with linked tables so that they could read all the forms. In my search I came accross this site
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;159691ACC
Procedure to Create Data Sources and Relink ODBC Tables (Q159691), I believe this show you how to do it but I am still having some trouble. I am new to all of this stuff and I am having a little problem with what to do. I have a main database called IPMSA-FY05, this database contains a control panel that has a lot of buttons which lead to many different forms for information. The data that is on the forms (meaning the IPMSA_FY05 is basically for you to see information on the forms) acctually comes from different databases depending on which you are linked to, since there are different databases IPMSD-CL, IPMSD-CO, IPMSD-CA that contain the information. My question is what would I put in the ODBCTableName, LocalTableName, and how do I find which server it is. All 4 databases have the same tables that contain the information.
I appreciate any help that someone send and thanks in advance.
