remove form popup dialog box

I have a button that is set to delete a record. when it is clicked it asks the user if they really want to delete the record, If they say no it then proceedes to pop up a dialog box that says "The DoMenuItem Action was canceled". I would like to be able to catch this and replace it with my own message. I try to catch it on Frm_err but it looks like it doesn't occure there since it is not really an error. Anyone know how to do this?
