Repeat a record a specified # of times on a report

I'm not sure if I can explain what i'm trying do but here goes!

I have a form and a subform. On each detail line I need to repeat that line on a report a specified number of times. I created a field in the details table to hold that number. I did get fairly close in that I was able to repeat the line the specified number of times on the report but if i have 2 or more detail lines it would repeat the number of lines for each detail line based on the first line only. What I use this for is I have say 20 pallets of product to produce. I need to make 5 pallets of 25 kg bags and 15 pallets of 15kg bags. The main form is the product I produce. The detail lines state the size of bag, sealer temperature, crew that packaged, etc. In this case I need two detail lines on the report because I require each pallet to have the skid weight and quality information recorded. If i enter those detail lines and i have the 5 pallets first it will repeat it 5 times and the second detail line will repeat 5 times right under it. I need to have the report display 5 repeated lines for the first and line 2 repeated 15 times.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

The only method I can suggest at the minute is by using a temporary table as the basis for your report.
To ensure that the right number of lines are produced, use a looping recordset to add records to the table based on the quantity field. If you are unfamiliar with how to code this, get back.
