I done this many times before - created a report whos results are based on the parameters selected from a form. Now for some reason when I go to run the report my form comes up and allows me to select the data but then I get another pop-up screen that asks for the parameters again. If I enter selections on this pop-up different that what I selected on my form the report will display what I've selected on the "secondary" pop-up. It's like its not getting the selections passed through from the form and I can't figure out why. In my query that the report is based on I've got criteria set and if I run the query and fill in criteria it gives me the right information. Just can't figure out where it's going off track between the form and the report.

I'm sure I've done something wrong but I can't seem to find it. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Usually you have something either misspelled or you changed the name of something in one place, but not in all places where it was used.

Report from form

Yes I know - that's what's usually happened in the past and I've gone over it multiple times to see if everything is correct and I can't find anything misspelled. Anything else you can think to check?

Thanks,

Check in the Sorting and Grouping within the reports - VIEW > Sorting and Grouping.

Works now. Created a new form and did everything again and now it works. Strange? Anyway thanks for your suggestions.

Report from form

Hey Bob maybe you can help me with one thing I'm having a problem with on this form. For some reason after I make my selections they stay on the form so if I go to run the report again the old selections are still there. I have tried several things like me.refresh but nothing has worked. Would appreciate any ideas you might have.

Thanks,

If they are unbound fields you will need to set them to empty strings in the code that opens the report.

DoCmd.OpenReport ...
Me.YourTextBoxNameHere = ""
etc.
