I'm having some trouble exporting reports and wonder if there any 'neat tricks'? The overview is I have a master report with about a dozen sub-reports. The client uses the information of some of those sub-reports in other reports created outside the database. Some of the data in the sub-reports is user created (ie they enter the data manually into the database); some of the data is imported from other sources and calculated (heaps of financial data; very complex). Many of the sub-reports are formatted to look like tables, but are actually (of course) a bunch of individual fields. And there's also a graph in one subreport (just to make things interesting
Exporting the sub-reports removes all the formatting, which is a bit of a bother for using the data in other places. The only "pretty" option I can come up with is that they print the required sub-report as a PDF; create the rest of their report in Word, print it as a PDF, and then merge the PDFs. They're not keen on this option (and I can understand that). But I can't work out how to export graphics and formatting to look pretty.
Any ideas?
