I have a silly report problem.

I have a form and on it has many fields and a few check boxes. It also has around 9 cmdbuttons to print off certain reports/company letters that contain certain information in them for various purposes.

I have setup a query called 'All' and macro and obviously the reports and linked them to the 'onclick' option on the cmdbutton, and it does bring up the data on the reports so that they can be printed.

However, if for example I'm in record 20 and I I update/change some field and have to print off a updated report/company letter then the report/company letter doesn't contain the latest information until I either exit the form and return and press relevant or browse the next or previous record and then return to record 20 and then if i select any the relevant cmdbutton to print off a report then it will contain the data in the report that I want.

I want the reports/company letters to contain the very most up to date information and this doesn't seem to be happening without having to resort the user to visit the next or previous record and flick back to the record that needs printing.

Any help, thanks.

the record isn't saved until you leave it or explicitly save it.
on your button(s) the first thing you have to do is save the record:

docmd.runcommand accmdsaverecord
the rest of your button code
