Report not showing the required data

Hi.

Currently I've been having troubles in my report, that when I ask it to generate a report for me, it contains a field where it requires that I fill in the value for the parameter, even though it has been specified to a specific table to aquire the data...

How can that be?

Check the datasource for the report. If it is a query will the query run cleanly outside of the report. Also check the name of the value that is being asked for. Is it spelt correctly?

I haven't created a query for the specific field, but just tried to bind it...

The funny part is, that I've used the same code in another report where it works (and yes it is spelled correct), but here it won't...

I was actually asking about the datasource for the report not the field. Is it a query or a table. Does it have the value for the field in it?
