This is probably a simple solution for someone, but I can't seem to find the cause of the problem. I have created a report from a query based upon a table that contains combo boxes. When printing the report, some of those fields print the report data in black boxes with white text. All of the fields are fields from combo boxes, however not all of the data in those fields prints that way...some print with white background and black text (what I want all of the report to do). What makes matters more confusing is that different data in the same field prints differently.

I have gone into the properties of the fields in both the report and the table, but can't seem to find anywhere to change the background color of the field that would change the results. Any help would be appreciated.

LloBid,

If you look at the properties for the bad fields, and in Design View, they
are white background/black foreground, then I would have to assume that
there is some code (or Conditional formatting) changing it.

Can you post a sample?

Sample of Report

Thanks for your prompt response. I haven't put any special conditional formatting in anything. I have attached a picture of the final report results and as you can see, the black background phenomenon seems to be random.

I have simply used the wizard to create the report and this is the result. I am using Office 2003.

Solution Found

I happened to find the solution to my own problem, so in case anyone else runs into the same problem...

I had some fields in a report printing with a black background and white text. I went to the properties of the fields and went to "Change to..." and chose "Text Box". This fixed the problem.
