reports crashing access 2k

Hi All

I am having some issues here. Basically the story goes as such

I have 2 databases that I actively use both have been created using access 2000 as this is all I have access to at work for development purposes.

I do have access 2003 Runtime environment as well but this is pointless for developing purposes and I am one of the few around here with 2k3RTE.

Both databases work fine in the RTE and all reports function as intended. However in the 2k version the application quits automatically.

This not only happens on my PC but on another person's PC running the 2k (whom does not have the 2k3RTE). How ever to make things just that little more interesting .... there is a 3rd person whom has access 2k and runs the reports from one of the databases fine.

Anybody had anything slightly like this and know of an easy way to solve this issue??? such as rebuilding the databases etc as for more pure tech support stuff I have no-one to ask (out IT dept doesn't support the programs as such just distributes them)

nvm ... got IT to repair the install and its working now...

Sounds like the database itself is not at fault

So:-
1) check/repair the Access 2k installation
2) make sure you have all the latest windows updates installed on your computer
3) check for any missing references (Tools>Macro>Visual Basic Editor, then Tools>References)

not sure what the issue was but I got the IT dept to repair the access install and its all working now so all good but cheers for the reply
