Reports.. Urgent Help Pl

Hi,

I am new to Access reports and I am facing problem to create a new report.
I just have to create report where the criteria is set from the a combobox on a form. Depending on the value in this form I want to set the criteria.
The report gives the desired result when I open it . But when I try to run it through the with value in the combobox, it asks me for the criteria value again though I have already selected my combobox.

Any answers please....!!

Your query on which the report is based should be something like


SELECT normal field selections here

FROM tbl_TOPS
Normal bit here as well



WHERE (((tbl_TOPS.[Tops Batch No])=[Forms]![frm_TOPS]![cbo_TOPS_3]));
basically this says that the criteria in the query tbl_TOPS.[Tops Batch No])
must be equal to the value of the combo box cbo_TOPS_3 which is on form frm_Tops.

I normally have an event procedure associated with the On Click property of the combo box to open the report so that when a value is selected the Report Opens using the value in the combo box.
