This has been doing my head in for days and have read thread after thread without any luck.
I have a main form with 1 subform in it. These are linked via child fields and by separate tables.
The subform's details view is set at continuous and users will enter product lines, qty, price etc.
A combo box on the main form is requeried each time it has the focus (this combo is sourced by a query.)
My problem is that whenever the combo has the focus and activates the requery, the main form's details stay intact but the subfrom's details vanish. The details are saved to the table, but a user cannot tell if a certain product has already been entered. Also, the total invoice calculation is returned to zero.
My question is: "How can I just requery the combo and nothing else?"
I have tried repaint, refresh, open query/close query methods the lot.
Please help. I have no hair on my head as it is so I can't pull anymore out!
