required field in sub-form

Please help. I have a main form with 1 sub-form. In the sub-form is a field that has the "required" property set in the table. When the user completes the main form and he does not complete the subform, it does not prompt him to enter the required field in the sub-form. What i'm trying to do is to force the user to also complete the sub-form ! How ? Thanks. Piet.

Have you properly defined your relationships and have Master/Child links set between the main and Sub forms?

There is no perfect way to do this but you can use a Boolean field on the main form and toggle its property from the subForm.
