Running sum help needed!!

I've been looking for a while at this issue without any answers. Please help !!

I have a crosstab query with the customers names, product names, dates, year only, and the months: Jan-dec.

I want the running sum month by month and compare it the where we were the year before that:

Client XXXXX
Product name: SAW 1
year JAN FEB MAR APR MAY JUNE JUL AUG SEP OCT NOV DEC YEAR
2008 123 234 345 (this is the original query data)

2008 123 357 702 (THIS IS THE CUMUL. FOR 2008 that i want to acheive)
2007 10 20 25 55 66 77 99 112 222 445 555
2006 22 55 56 66 76 88 102 222 234 459 600


What is the best solution?

Create a query that selects the crosstab query. Make sure that the crosstab query is defined with fixed columns. In the select query, you can do the necessary calculations. This will be easier to do with a report so that would be my choice unless I needed to export the query results.
