Scientific/Exponential Notation

I am needing a field in my Crystal Report to display in scientific notation, and I cannot find out how to do that! I have been looking in the format section of the field in Crystal Reports, and exponential just isn't there! Am I overlooking it?

I need to turn 23000 into 2.3E+04.

I am using Crystal Reports in Visual Studio 2005.
