Hi, have downloaded a search engine supplied to another member a while back, it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for with my database but I need to go to the next stage and open a form with the selection made from the database. I have attached the database and the two forms included.

Have canabalised the code from the example but I think the criteria is not correct for the open form expression, can you help please ?

I changed the psychology of your search a little bit. You can
actually move the search elements someplace like the lower
left hand corner of your Results screen. Then using the
AfterUpdate event of each combo, you can just do a
Me.Requery.
