Search Feature/sorting (1 Viewer)

If there is one small thing that does kind of still annoy me about this site's functionality (and this is really all there is - I think the site is highly functional as a whole!) - it is the Search function. Generally, I'm searching for my own posts with a keyword. The search results can't even be sorted! Although you would expect that would naturally be sorted by Date descending, they are not - so even if I made a post yesterday with the keyword "freddy spaghetti", it's NOT the top result.

Can this be changed or improved? A search function without filters and even with sort is the worst.
Or am I missing it?

Oh wow, I never would have guessed sorting was relegated to "advanced"! Thank you

I believe the default sort is "Relevance", so it is sorted, just not to your preference.

The Search facilities of this site are fantastic!

The old sites search facilities were poor to say the least! I promoted the use of a Google search focused on he sites URL.

No longer!
Now, I use the built in search all the time!

I keep discovering more of its features....

Yeah now that I know I need to use the advanced search I'm sure I'll have a much better time! I was just using the search button and wasn't too happy with those results at all but now I know I need to just always use the other one.
