I love this forum I learn something new everyday by looking at other peoples threads, anyway.
I want to create a form with a single text box linked to my customers table, one where the user can enter a road I.E "Primrose Hill"
As there are several people who live on this road it should pull all the records back with more information such as address and firstname, in a table like view.
(possibly a subform thats hidden underneath the search box, that appears visible after the search box is updated) (learned the visible thing earlier)
from here the users should be able to double click on the record they would like (going by the address) and pull this up in the original form and be able to edit. (like in the default form view again which can be hidden under the subform and be made visible after the person has double clicked on a single record)
1. need help linking a text box to a table to create a search field
2. need help to somehow be able to click on a field and get rid of the other records that aren't required.
This seems like a real big request because i have nothing to start off with.
I did just use the search button, but people wasn't happy with it :-(
(Tried parameters in a query on the table but it dont seem to cut it.)
