Search that gives empty fields

Right I have 1 searchbox that updates a list by querying 3 fields, now unless the data is the same in all three fields it brings up blank records,

can you see my problem or do you need anymore explanation.

e.g

Search Recruit skill: Joiner

Name | Primary Skill | Secondary Skill | Specialist Skill

Bob Joiner Plumber Builder
Steve Gasman Joiner Benchmaker
Andy Elec Brick Climeber
Greg Driver Plumber Joiner

So under search recruit skill it should bring up Bob, Steve and Greg cos they all have joiner in there skills
But it will bring up none of them!
