Hello,
Im still a beginner at these types of things but i'm wondering if I have a table of stickers that have been used/tracked that goes something like this :
sticksused(stick_id, stick_begin, stick_end, stick_qty, date_used, company)
with an entry looking like :
(1, 100, 199, 100, 1/1/2010, ABC products)
(2, 300, 499, 200, 1/5/2010, DEF company)
which means stickers 100 through 199 were used on 1/1/2010, and stickers 300 through 499 were used on 1/5/2010, etc.
and I have a table that keeps track of the stickers bought by a company that goes like this
sticklog(sticklog_id, stick_begin, stick_end, stick_qty, date_sold, company)
with an entry looking like
(1, 100, 299, 200, 12/31/2009, ABC Products)
(2, 300, 699, 400, 1/1/2010, DEF company)
is there a way I can audit these to find out if the stickers being used match the stickers being bought in the log? and if so compare the dates? (what I really want to compare is just the year they bought it and the year they used it)
