searching for sub items

hi

if i had 2 tables (below) how can i do a search for the staff and there sub-task? all in one table?

table 1
staff---- job
1 -------cleaning
2 -------washing
3 -------fixing


table 2
job---------------task (subtask)
cleaning ---------bathroom
cleaning ---------bedroom
washing ---------clothes
washing ---------sheets
fixing ------------car
fixing ------------computer



eg. if i select all

i should get
staff ---------job
1 -------------cleaning
-----------------------cleaning bathroom
-----------------------cleaning bedroom
2 -------------washing
----------------------washing clothes
----------------------washing sheets
3 -------------fixing
--------------------fixing car
--------------------fixing computer

If in a query, you would join the two tables.

On a report, you could use a sub report for the second table.

how can i join the tables ? can you provide an example
