Firstly, didn't know which discussion to put this in hence in General, hope this isn't a problem. Running Access 2002
My issues are, 1st l have created several replicas of my database and it all works great, however l am having to replicate once for each replica. Although there is a "replicate all in background" shown on th replicate screen it is greyed out and l am unable to turn it on.
How can l get my master to replicate with ALL copies of itself in one go ?
2nd l have sorted through the security issues and have done the wrokgroup and restricted access ( thanks in no small part to the threads already posted on this site). However l have a user that l only want to be able to look at the information (in form views) and print off reports (which are linked through the forms).
However when l log on as him l can still edit subforms create new data and get into the data base itself although with limited editing rights.
Is there are way to restrict the access down to view only ?
