Security Wizard Error (not working!)

When I try to use the 2000 Security Wizard, I get the cryptic message: "Object variable or With block variable not set" and I can't proceed any further. I am not using any class modules in the database - why does this come up? I also get error messages in some other wizards, such as "Only one example of that wizard can be used at once" when only one is open. Any suggestions?

Same problem

i am unable to define where the problem is coming from. I have created no code as to make a mistake, its just a db with a few tables and forms. Nothing compplicated. But when i try to run the security wizard, all i get is "object variable or with object variable not set"...
