send e-mail not going to sent items

In my database I have the option to sent a report via e-mail.
The database is used by several people of which one of them has the problem that the sent e-mail does not appear in his sent items (outlook 2000).
We confirmed with the recipient if he received the mail and they did.

anyone seen this problem before?? Do you have a solution
