Hi
I would appreciate some help with this please. I have seen some answers in google but none that make any sense to me!
I am using Access 2010 and I want to be able to open a blank email addressed to the contact I am viewing in my Access form. I have been successful in creating a button which opens Outlook, but I don't know what code to put in the 'To' field of the EmailDatabaseObject page so that it picks up the email address of the contact I am looking at.
Thanks in anticipation :banghead:

Hello Clott.. Welcome to AWF.. :)

I would be directing you to some of the Google results myself for answering your question.. But since you mentioned you have some code at hand.. The best would be.. Show us what you have got and what does not make sense to provide a more realistic and sensible answer..

Does the code you have use DoCmd.SendObject method or creates an Outlook Object?

Thanks for the quick reply. I had just posted the query then had the bright idea to copy and paste from a Northwind form and it works!! No idea how -

This is what I pasted - =[E-mail Address] & IIf(Nz([E-mail Address])<>""," [" & [E-mail Address] & "]")

I just needed to change 'E-mail' to 'Email' and it worked!! I have no idea what NZ means but I'm not worried now!

Thanks again, and I'm really pleased I fell upon this forum.
