Setting Field On Subform to Same As Form

I have a main form and a subform. The records displayed in the subform come from a query. My problem is related to when the subform is initially empty or when the user is creating a new record. There is a field in the subform called SiteID and there is also a SiteID on the main form. When the user enters a new record on the subform, I would like to automatically fill out the Subforms SiteID field with the value that is current on the main form.

Is this possible?
