setup a tally report (1 Viewer)

I need to take answers (a,b,c & d) to 10 multiple choice questions provided in raw text form and be able to run a report that calulates daily and weekly totals for the percetange of each answer to each question.

As it is now, I have limited experience with the microsoft office family. I have come up with two not so appealing solutions: 1. set up my own specialized report; 2.creating my own spreadsheet with the formulas in the appropriate place and redoing them each week with the updated data. I know that there is another answer somwhere...

I have tried to use the report wizard and not been able to activate the summary option. All of the adins are installed and I have used the data as an Xcel import to active the access management options to no avail. Help.
