Sharepoint recommendations

I am starting a project where I will likely be utilizing Sharepoint 3.0 to make db info available to end users. Since I have not used this program before, I thought I would see if anyone here had recommendations for a good beginners book.

Hi, if you do not have a resource for your Sharepoint information yet I would recommend visiting www.virtualassist.net. (Andrea Kalli Virtual Trainer and Assistant, LLC).

Andrea Kalli is a virtual trainer for this and she is very good with starting with the basics to the advanced.

Thank you, Nancy! She looks like a good resource, and I may well need it as I have zero experience with SharePoint. I have also picked up a copy of Sams' _Microsoft SharePoint 2007 Unleashed_ to read through.

I have attended webinars and I experienced her training for 4 sessions. I(being a virtual assistant I attend functions via web as well as face-to-face) think that she is an excellent trainer via web for those who are not familar with Sharepoint! I hope it works out for you and if you write her to inquire she will get you well on your way to collaborations through Sharepoint!
