Sharing Access Database

After creating a database and splitting it to back-end and front-end, where the back-end is located in our shared server, what is the best way to have users use the front end, so that the speed is not compromise, and if i need to change any of the designs also have complete control of who is in the database..

Any ideas or guidance would be greatly appreciated..
