Short date = mm/dd/yyyy not dd/mm/yyy (Regional Settings= UK!)

Hi,

I have a huge problem!!!! Access seems to be picking up settings from somewhere which means that the Short date = mm/dd/yyyy and not dd/mm/yyy as set in the regional Settings!

Does anyone have any ideas why?!?!

I had exactly the same problem a while back. Go back into regional settings, click customize, go into date and in Short date try "d/M/yy" that's mine currently, and it seems to work fine.

nothing worked... but starting afresh with a new copy of windows!!!!

Use mid date rather than short date... cause short date is confusing while using by difference 'type' of ppl.
