Show last Pay Estimate on a Report

Thanks for taking the time to read this

What I am trying to accomplish is to show the last Pay Estimate received on a report. The fields are as follows:

Sub Form
PE_ID
Date Received
Date Sign
Amt Paid
Invoice Number
User assign (to make the payment)

Main Form
Contractor Name and other Information
ID

Table 1
(ID to PE_ID) Relationship is one to many


What would be the best way of doing this

Hi,

i believe that you are trying to get the Last Or Least Estimate Record in the Report.

What I Usually do is Create a Query using the Two Tables and then Under the Totals Columns Add "Last" in the Date Section. Then Create A Report

I hope you get the point....

What I was trying to say is I have ONE MAIN form then I have a Sub Form.

The Main Form has all the contractor in basic information.

The Subform has all the invoices, which I am trying to show ONLY the last Invoice received from the Sub Form. I hope this makes a little more sense

If your subfrm is based on a query and the tbl or source has a date field, then, add MAX to the date fields group by in the query.... now if these contractor invoice records can have the same date more than once you'll have to do the query differently.....
