Hi there,
I wish to distribute a dbase I have developed, with the Package Wizard in A2007.
It asks me for a EULA.
I am presuming it is the Microsoft Office key that it wants, (the Product Key that is on the box).
I have also downloaded the Access Runtime and would like to include it, but cannot browse to it when filling out the Package Wizard fields.
If anyone has done this procedure, I would be grateful if you could give me some pointers.
Also, the back end is on the server at work, the front end I have developed at home using Access 2007. When I test the front end at home, I just update the table links to a BE on my laptop hard drive (same table structure, I developed the tables also).
Now, if I understand the process correctly. I should copy the updated Front End to my workstation at work,(mine is the ONLY workstation with MS Access on it version 2003). I should then update the table links to point to the server, I think I should then copy the front end to a flash drive, take it home, and then package the front end dbase without changing the links (i.e. they still point to the server at work) using the Packaging Wizard on my laptop which has MS Office Proffesional 2007.
I hope I have explained myself clearly enough so that people catch my drift.
Any help would be grateful.
