Hello-
I have a simple design question that I am looking to get some input on. What I have are two data sources in Excel. I would like to put them into Access due to the vast amounts of data I am beginning to acquire....
For the first table I have Returns and other pieces of data that are functionally dependent on the Index and the Date they belong too. In other words, I have numerous indices over time with data points attached to each.
In my second table I have similar construct. I have Returns that are functionally dependent on Ticker symbols and Date. This is a historical time series as well.
As far as setting up the relationships and table structures does anybody have any suggestions?? In the end product I am looking to run analysis over various time periods comparing the index to the ticker(s)....
Thanks!
EK
