Well...for my sports card database I put several different fields and subforms thinking it would be great to have everything right on one form. WRONG...there's so much stuff on there it makes it hard for me to view the information.
So...here's the situation. On each sale or purchase I make, I have to do the following.
1)Select customer from (tblCustomers) or add a new customer record to table.
2) Enter details of specific transaction (tblTransactions)
3) Enter the transaction ID from (tblTransactions) for each card ID from (tblInventory) that is involved with that specific transaction
4) Check and Uncheck two different checkboxes within (tblInventory) for that specific card that has been tied to the transaction to show whether it's online for sale or not, or if it has been sold.
I'm almost back to thinking that it's better to have all seperate forms to do this. I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a better way...could you guys share your ideas and thoughts to help my database be more efficient for me.
Thanks!
Brady
