Hello Anyone Who Can Help

Admittedly, I am not the most experienced Access user but I try.

I have completed a form in design view but when I go to open it as a form, it only shows part of it. It is a large form (letter size). Are you limited to a certain size?

Any suggestions on how to it get all in?

Much thanks.

Hello:
If the form is too large it should have scroll bars on the bottom and side of the form to allow you to see the entire form. However, design-wise, should construct your form so that it fits all within the Access window. If you have a lot of controls you can save a lot of form real estate by using the tab control.

If it is wider than the window you are looking at it in, then you may see a horizontal scroll bar so that the unviewable area can be moved over to the viewable window area.
A letter size form would only be limited by the viewable area, your screen display area (800x600 etc.), and then you'd have scroll bars, IF YOU HAVE MAXIMIZED the form window. If the form window is not maximized then part of it could be off the screen without showing scroll bars.

I hope this sheds some light.

Here's the rest of the story, just fyi:

Any suggestions?

Much thanks.

Re: Thanks and One More Question

Open the form properties, select FORMAT tab
then Scroll bars = BOTH

See if that helps,

I got several ways to see if help out or not:

1) u may set your window screen resolution to 1024 X 768 or high......
2) Enable the scroll bar, go form properties looking for scroll bar > select both...
3) Make sure the design board in the design view not out of bound just make it fit to your form.
4) Try to select the different option from form > Border Style, see it help or not.

I hope these can help u to solve the problem.

Regard,
alex
